As a project grows, a single hill can hold more context than a review needs at once. Hillchart lets you group related scopes into epics, assign ownership, and filter by member so the team can move between the whole project and the part that needs attention.

Group scopes into meaningful epics

Use epics to gather the scopes that belong to a larger outcome, initiative, or shaped bet. The grouping gives a project review structure without forcing every scope into the same level of detail.

An epic can reveal a pattern that is harder to see scope by scope: for example, whether one area is still mostly uphill while another is ready for execution.

Make ownership visible

Assign an owner to each scope so it is clear who can add context when its position changes. Ownership supports the conversation; it does not mean one person carries every dependency or decision alone.

Filter the hill for the question at hand

Filter by member to focus a review, prepare a one-to-one, or understand the work a teammate is carrying. Return to the full hill when you need to see dependencies and the project-wide picture.
