Ask for meaningful units
Request outcome-oriented scopes with clear boundaries and uncertainties. Reject lists of implementation chores; those do not work well as hill chart positions.
Review with the builders
The team should merge, split, or remove proposals before adding them to Hillchart. Set initial positions based on what is actually known, then update them as work begins.
